When a couple has been together for more than a decade (12 years to be exact!), their celebration needs to look and feel extra-special. While they were planning their celebration, Annaleigh and Luke were inspired by all things Italy, specifically olive branches, candles, and raw-edged wood. They also wanted their wedding to have a sophisticated and timeless feel that would still feel classic years down the line. Plus, Annaleigh and Luke hoped to add a few personal touches. So, we did just that, and Photography by Miranda captured everything beautifully!
This sweet couple celebrated their wedding day in Carillon Beach, and they enjoyed gorgeous weather. That was such a bonus because they recited their vows at The Meeting House and celebrated outside underneath a tent. Plus, they captured gorgeous photos at the beach. Not only that but Annaleigh and Luke also have a history of visiting 30A, so they rented a house in Rosemary Beach for a week to make their wedding even more fun!
They spent their mornings getting ready before their wedding ceremony at The Meeting House.
Annaleigh said she loved the celebratory feel of champagne, so she wanted to have flutes waiting for guests to enjoy as they arrived to watch her and Luke recite their vows. We loved that this couple wanted to kick off their day on such a fun note!
Once Annaleigh and Luke were married, they escaped to the beach to capture couple’s portraits. This is something we always recommend doing because these photos are typically some of our couples’ favorites from their entire wedding days. Plus, the time alone offers you a chance to reset and get ready for the fun evening ahead.
Guests sipped cocktails to usher in the reception part of the evening. Once dinner was nearly underway, everyone was welcomed underneath the tent.
Annaleigh wanted this outdoor-meets-indoor space to make a statement, so Myrtie Blue created another beautiful arch. But this time the arch welcomed guests underneath the tent! Plus, the center of the tent had a unique modern arrangement that paired candles together with mixed foliage and flowers. Centerpieces were a mixture of high designs and low garlands, and shades of ivory and green filled the space to create a fresh feel.
Of course, a checkered dancefloor was necessary, too!
In between formal dances and heartfelt speeches, guests dined on a menu created by Portobello Market and sipped on the signature cocktail, an earthy creation called The Botanist. Once dinner was complete, Big Night Dynamite kept everyone up and moving for the entire night. There was a break for cake, however, and it was worth it because this confection was created by one of Annaleigh and Luke’s family friends, Dessert Designs by Leland. As Annaleigh said, it was beautiful on the outside, and it tasted just as delicious on the inside!
Annaleigh and Luke, was an absolute delight to work with you!
